The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind è il terzo capitolo della saga The Elder Scrolls. Il gioco è ambientato nell'isola di Vvardenfell, un distretto della provincia Dunmer di Morrowind. Il territorio esplorabile è di dimensioni inferiori rispetto ai precedenti giochi della saga, Daggerfall e Arena, tuttavia è molto più dettagliato. Questo GdR epico permette di giocare una gran varietà di personaggi in modi differenti. Il gioco continua ad essere venduto dieci anni dopo la sua uscita, in parte grazie alla community che produce mod, grazie ai quali il gioco continua a ricevere nuovi contenuti. È possibile giocare alle versioni standard e GotY di Morrowind su Xbox 360 e Xbox One grazie alla retrocompatibilità.
